Emergency Training Session
Museum staff and volunteers attended a very useful training session about how to deal with an emergency in the museum. The workshop was run by Rebecca Harvey the Flying Collections Assistant. It was part of Making Collections Count, a programme of free collections care support to museums in the West Midlands.
Volunteers play an important role at the museum.
We also hope that they find it a rewarding experience, and enjoy helping out and talking to the visitors.
Often volunteers have skills and time that the paid staff do not have.
Your Museum Needs You!
