Museum closed, but still open for business
The Museum is currently closed due to COVID.
However, museum staff and volunteers are still very busy.
The Museum continues to deal with shop sales and family history research enquiries.
The shop has a wide range of gifts and souvenirs relating to the Museum as well as specialist military books and regimental merchandise.
We specialise in family history research to do with soldiers who served in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Staff are available to answer your queries by phone, email and letter. Please do contact us for a friendly, expert and knowledgeable service.
Join us later in the year, on Saturday 17th July, when we hope (COVID restrictions permitting) to hold an outdoor free family fun event in the grounds. Discover what it was like in World War 2 when you meet Royal Warwickshire Regiment re-enactors. Hear popular music from the fabulous Ruby Ann Sings. Refreshments will also be available.
Join us for the monthly Friends programme of interesting talks and join the Friends organisation. If you wish to support the museum in other ways then we welcome volunteers or donations via our website or on GoFundMe.
Exciting developments are also afoot to re-locate the museum in early 2022 to Pageant House, Jury Street, Warwick. Explore the new displays including a First World War re-created trench with smells, sights and sounds as well as other family-friendly activities. The new displays will also keep visitor favourites like objects to do with Field Marshal Montgomery, Bobby the antelope mascot or Hannah Snell the female soldier. More updates to follow in the coming months.
