Museum receives lifeline grant from Government's Culture Recovery Fund
It is fantastic news for the Museum to be awarded a grant of £115,535 from the Culture Recovery Fund.
We are really fortunate to receive the public money which will be a lifeline for us over the next six months enabling us to deliver heritage to the community and a real chance to bounce back in the future.
The wonderful funding will enable the museum, a cultural gem, to keep going, protects jobs and to proactively work towards a more sustainable future in the centre of our spiritual home in Warwick.
The museum plans to move to Pageant House in Jury Street, Warwick. The exciting new development provides the opportunity to tell the remarkable stories of the Regiment's 350 year history and the sacrifices made by the people of Warwickshire in a new up to date way. The new museum will bring history to life - visitors will explore and discover a fascinating mix of sound, moving images, hands-on interactives and real objects. We are very grateful for the support from the Government which will let us remain part of the vibrant cultural experience of the town.
