Terry & Dahlia – the best of Friends
Terry and Dahlia Harrison have been involved with the Friends of the Museum since 2001.
They were on the steering committee which set up the group to support and fund the museum.
They were both interested in the military having served in the Territorial Army and collect militaria.
They helped to set up the charitable status, the identity of the Friends organisation and to follow best practice.
The couple have been on the committee ever since acting as Secretary and Treasurer.
As such they have made a huge contribution to the Friends and the museum, they have been wonderful stalwarts.
Dahlia always impresses you with her efficiency, calmness and dependability. She is very organised and you know that it will be just right.
On his retirement Terry became a volunteer, a natural progression given his military and historical interests.
Despite the couple moving to Norfolk to be nearer their daughter Dahlia has kindly offered to continue to act as Treasurer.
So it is au-revoir rather than goodbye.
A big thank you for your marvellous contribution.
In return they have enjoyed being involved with the museum.
