The temporary display of objects will be available to all visitors. The talks are in the first place open to readers of the Independent newspaper.
These will take place on the 22nd, 24th, 26th and 27th at 11am and on the 23rd August at 2.30pm. All talks will be in the medal room in the museum and will last approximately 15 minutes. Places are limited to a maximum of 15 people on a first come first serve basis. To book your place please telephone or email the museum or use the contact us page on this website.
Hidden Treasures is a national campaign run by the Collections Trust with support from the Arts Council England.
The campaign runs from the 22nd to 27th August 2013. The aim is to encourage the public to find out about the tremendous richness of museum, gallery and archive collections and the work that goes into caring for and interpreting them.
